Lars Vogt – The Complete Warner Classics Edition

The late Lars Vogt was an artist who kept releasing excellent albums throughout his career, including concerto works as both pianist and conductor that he recorded for the Ondine label. This 27-CD box includes recordings he made for EMI starting in the 1990s. The Brahms solo and chamber works are the highlight of this set, but there’s much more to admire here, including 20th-century works by Hindemith and Messiaen.
